Promoting Self Advocacy for Optimal Health & Living
ABOUT
MISSION STATEMENT:
I AM My Advocate exists to empower individuals to become confident self-advocates through education, resources, and supportive community. We equip individuals to navigate health challenges with strength and the knowledge needed to pursue the best possible outcomes, partnering with communities and health providers to foster holistic well-being, improve quality of life, and honor the whole person.
Medical Providers and Physicians can only devote a small amount of time to invest in your health. We must do our own research, use the resources available to us to partner with our Physicians in securing accurate diagnosis and treatment.
I AM My Advocate will guide, educate, and encourage individuals to partner with their medical teams, while ultimately leaning on Yahuah, our true source of healing. We offer resources, interview videos, testimonies, and tools designed to equip you with confidence and clarity on your health journey.
Inspired by the personal experiences of our founder Lisa Poole — a former caregiver and a warrior herself, facing various health challenges — "I AM MY Advocate" is a place of shared wisdom, faith, and support.
If you are facing a health challenge, let’s walk this path together. Be informed, be prayerful, be supported — and be empowered.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. — 3 John 1:2
In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. — Romans 8:37
